Busy, busy, busy...

I've been a rubbish blogger, but a busy girl again. I went skiing in France for a week which was really brilliant, then I went to work in London for two weeks and since I got back I've been thrown back into performing with my Pin Ups! Thought I'd just share a few photos of what I've been up to and the couple of lovely new things I've bought. Found a serious love for Zara recently, dangerous for my poor battered bank account.

Doing what I do best.

Sorry for the heavy photo blog, just thought it was easier to show you what I've been up to rather than talk about it. Had so much fun being back with the Pin Ups girls, two great gigs and started recording our album, which went surprisingly well! Promise to be a better blogger (again). Happy Tuesday x

Happy Birthday Pa.

Today is Daddy Bear's Birthday so I decided to blog! Ha. Had such a lovely weekend celebrating with him. We went out for dinner on Saturday with the Grandparents at Miller and Carter in Sutton Park. The restaurant is right on the side of the lake and the sun was out making the lake glisten, just lovely. I wore a h&m silk blouse and my fabulous new h&m lace shorts that I found in the sale for £7! I also got some new rings from h&m that I am beyond in love with...

And this was our gorgeous view...

Saturday night I went to Rainbow Warehouse in Brum for the Shadow City presents Rinse FM tour. Was such a good night and thanks to my stalker mate was stood at the side of the stage chatting to Toast MC and Youngsta while P Money was on. Hilarious. Wore my leather shorts from h&m and leopard print silky top from Topshop and FLAT BOOTS. Too many girls in mad heels at a rave for my liking.

I don't know how after 3 hours sleep, but on Sunday I went to Hawkstone to the motocross with Pops. Was such a lovely day again, the weather was amazing and we saw lots of old faces as my Dad used to race. My converse got covered in sand, just the way I like them. I really need a motocross boyfriend so I can spend the rest of my Sunday's wondering round fields smelling of four stroke. Hope everyone had as lovely a weekend as I did...x

Valentine's Shmalentine's.

So another Valentine's is over, thank God! I managed to escape without seeing too many PDA's by driving back from my Mom's and visiting my cousin who hasn't been very well. I then spent the evening with my Dad, eating freezer meals and watching Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, oh the life of a 24 year old singleton ay?! I did receive something though...a Lindt chocolate egg from my Step Dad as he knew I wouldn't get anything otherwise and felt sorry for me! Ha.

I spent Sunday at 'Pure' fashion event in London. It's a trade show that retailers attend to look at next seasons stock for their shops. Enjoyed having a good old nose and found a great jewellery make...Love Rocks. It's by the same guy who invented Mikey, but this is his new venture. Edgy stuff, but with a quality look about it, unlike a lot of costume jewellery these days. I wore a great collar combo for the day, after all it was a fashion event!

Shirt, jumper and necklace form H&M.

Will do another outfit post this week as I have a few things I want to show, but for now I'll just leave you with a bit of a brilliant video from M.I.A. Too cool for her own good...and a Mom!!

Country Retreat.

I had a mini holiday this weekend with my bessie and her little girl at my Mother's, down South. Was so chilled, full of food, walking and playing games. Purfick. Got Mom to get a few pics of things I was wearing and my bargainous new fur coat to show you. Also took a few pics of the pigs we visited!

Newbury is so pretty, we just spent Saturday wondering around and along the river drinking milkshakes. I wore my favourite newest fur collar from H&M, I love the colour of it and the fact it's long so it stays on!!

This is the new ten pound fur coat. It's a beaut isn't it? My skirt is also H&M and only 14.99. I'm in love with that place at the moment. Found the skirt thanks to www.nicola-claire.blogspot.com, she posted it a few weeks ago and I fell in love so went on the hunt and found it, yay!

Top to Bottom: Cardigan - H&M, Boots - Topshop (old), Double Ring - Topshop, Pigs c/o Mick The Pig, Scarf - H&M, Coat - Urban Outfitters, Bag H&M (old).

Sorry for the rather heavy photo blog, but thought I'd use having Mother there to take some photos! Had such a lovely time, you can't beat quality time with the ladies. Missing my Ma a lot now though. Think I'll leave you with a final photo of my bessie's little girl in my skirt and fur collar doing a blogging photo of her own. HA! xx

5 more minutes.

Yay. Yas is back...and my obsession lives on. Her voice sounds lovely in this and I love the jumper.

B.

I just can't get enough of this amazingly beautiful and talented woman at the moment. These two songs make me dance like no one is watching, which they generally aren't cuz I'm in my living room on my own. As a performer I appreciate Beyonce so much. No one has her stamina, energy, vocal range and versatility and is this HOT and humble with it. She's just perfect....ENJOY xx

Oh and also, I bought a new fur coat yesterday for TEN POUNDS. It's from H&M and I saw it a while back and wanted it, but it was £40 and I couldn't really justify it. Went in yesterday and it had moved in the sale area but hadn't got a price on so I went and asked and had the most brilliant shock of my life. Will do an outfit post in it soon. x

SPOTS

My Mother is a total legend and bought me these tights from Next for £2!! They were reduced from £8 and we have no idea why because they're perfect. Wore them last night with my short leather pleated skirt form H&M....a dreamy combination. Unfortunatley I didn't get a photo of this dreamy combination so you'll have to take my word for it. I did get a different photo though, so here it is...

Had an amazing night with my school girls last night at Bodega in Birmingham, lots of tapas, cocktails and giggles. 13 years have flown by!

This is me and my beautiful friend Jazzy Fizzle, she's the one on my blog who got married in Canada and looked UNREAL. She always does. I need a better white vest top to wear with basic black things, I love monochrome and I'm really fussy about vest tops being the right shape and material. American Apparrel are normally the best so I'll be getting on the website after this blog. Also just wanted to tell you about the lipstick I have on in this post and in my last one...I'm addicted. I was searching for the perfect deep red (rouge noir) lipstick for so long and I'd say I found it in the Bourjois 'Sweet Kiss', number 78. Can't beat a great lipstick. Have a lovely weekend dolls xx

Oakheart...

Firstly, I finished panto on Saturday for the year! Yay etc...I had a very eventful, fun tour, but I'm glad it's over, I was shattered. In celebration of this I went out to meet my two bessies for a drink and a dance. I discovered another dark rum I love...Bacardi Oakheart. It's quite sweet, but lovely, it may take over from Sailor Jerry's for a while, who knows?! I also wore my new skirt and managed to take a couple of photos before I left so I can do an outfit post. Finally.

Crop top-Topshop (old), Skirt-Miss Selfridge, Jewellery-Topshop, Pandora and ChloBo.

I love my Topshop earcuff, adds something a bit more interesting when I've got my hair up.

So, there it is. My first actual outfit post. Hope it's sufficent. I had a fabulous gig with The Pin Ups last night at The Best of Broad Street Awards and today we're off to Blackpool. I seriously need to get packing! More opportunities for some outfit posts near the tower. Happy Tuesday xx

Resolution...

I think I may have actually taken the title of worst blogger ever for the month of December in 2011, NOT ONE POST!! Shocking. Have no fear though, my new years resolution was to blog more and better.
So, I'm going to post about my excellent little holiday I've just had for new years eve in St. Ives, Cornwall. My friends parents have just bought a cottage down there and before they do it up they let us have a fun few days/party there! So much fun. St. Ive's comes to life on new years eve, it was like one massive street party with fireworks at midnight and everyone's in fancy dress...except us. I made friends with a pirate, a man in an all in one, all the King's horses and all the King's men. The town in the day is so beautiful aswell, pasties galore, cream teas, beautiful sand and lots of seagulls...perfect little English seaside. I want to retire there.
On new years eve we didn't get majorly dressed up as we knew we'd be out on the streets at midnight but I did wear my new rather wonderful leopard print dress from Topshop. It's long at the back and short at the front, a design I'm becoming slightly obsessed with recently. I also wore my bargain boots from River Island which were £20 in the sale, so I had to buy them!

I've also taken to wearing various long necklaces with crosses on recently. Topshop and Miss Selfridge have a great collection and they just make any soft dress look a bit more edgy. This is the one I'm wearing in the top picture from Topshop...

I love the little tag thing that hangs from it too. When I was taking my little midnight dip in the sea I wore my trusty silver jumper from h&m, leather jacket and the best fur collar ever from h&m about 5 years ago. Every girl needs the perfect fur collar in the winter. There's only one other thing I'm really lusting after at the moment and that's some metallic jeans! Rumi Neeley always seems to have amazing pairs and I'm determined to find the perfect pair of silver ones. I've been tipped off that Zara has a few pairs in and of course I'll have a look in good old Toppers. When I find the them they'll have a whole post to themselves.
Well, I think that'll do it for now. I need to get better at taking outfit photos and posting them which is hard when your camera's pretty rubbish so bear with me. I'll leave you with a photo of me at my happiest...by the sea, full of roast dinner with my bestie on new years day....Happy New Year xx
